Most qubits
The number of physical qubits in a gate-based quantum computer. Higher is better.
Why it matters
Qubit count sets an upper limit on the size of problem a machine can hold. It's the number most headlines quote.
Keep in mind
More qubits isn't the same as more useful: quality matters as much as quantity. Quantum annealers work differently and aren't included in this race.
